Great place for watching sports and good food

Good food - burgers seem to be their specialty and they are huge, and delicious. I had a Chicken, Walnut, Cranberry Salad today - excellent! They were not busy when we arrived so our service was quick and our food arrived in good time. It got very busy shortly thereafter and with only one waitress I noticed tables waiting for a very long time even to get a menu and a drink. Felt sorry for her.

This place has taken a dive. The owner doesn't even care anymore. We showed up a little after 6 on a Monday night. The place was dark and we were informed that since they had only had one customer so far that day, they were shutting down early. We had called at 3 to make sure they would be open. Pretty pathetic excuse from them.The time before, we had called in an order twenty minutes before we showed up and they let our order go to another table. Like idiots, we waited another twenty minutes.

Stopped in to have a few drinks. Not a large bar to belly up but it did the trick. The bartender and owners were very friendly and good service. I only had the onion rings which were good and the sauce was amazing! Will probably stop back to check out some more of the menu!

Ordered 2 taco salads to go, it took 15 minutes to make which the time frame was fine. I’m not impressed with the very little amount of meet, tomatoes, cheese, black olives, etc was put in a huge shell. Then I got home, my mom and I started eating them. She put food on her fork and was getting ready to take a bite when she noticed a long hair also on her folk. She immediately threw it away. We wanted extra sour cream for our taco salads and was told they were out of it. Not impressed with spending $18.53 for our meal.

Stopped at the First Street Bar today while riding with a group of friends. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely perfect. We all had variations of their hamburgers, except for one BLT. We will definitely stop there again!!!

Waited over an hour for food. Waitress never stopped to check in on my group. Poor service not worth the money

It was another good place to eat, hamburger was really good, but chicken sandwiches,corn dogs I didn't see any steaks on the menu and a very little selection of beers. Also had chicken breasts and would serve you at the bar also,but fries where really good and the food was hot,fresh.

Yummy Saturday special!

The fried pickles were so good that I kind of wanted to die after eating them, because I was worried I might never eat anything else that good. But the iced tea was really bad. It was so watered down that my friend who ordered it told her husband "Don't let them charge you for my tea, they accidentally gave me water."

A classic small-town pub with reasonable prices

Glad we ran into a fella at the gas station who recommended this place. We were traveling thru and it was nice friendly and quick for a sit down.

Expensive. I got the BLT , fries and a drink. (Best BLT I've had in a while.)Close to 10$

The beer on tap was good and cold. The food was good! They actually toasted the bun on the Philly! The blue cheese burger was good! The curly fries were great. Good sized portions.

Food was great! We were recommended to here by Mary at the Sunflower Motel, and she definitely steered us in the right direction. We expected frozen food, but instead everything was made in the restaurant, and it definitely showed in presentation and taste. The gentleman that waited on us had a great sense of himor, and was very friendly. Will be back next time we're in the area!(The burger was served on that amazing bun, but I don't eat bread unfortunately. Wish I did, as it smelled great and appeared to be fresh baked.)

Best local bar and grill in Hiawatha. Thanks I've had a change of ownership but the menu and the bar has stayed exemplary.

Tha food is really good an tha staff is very friendly... Easy place to go an eat with some friends and or family... You can have drinks with ur meal which is even better.. If ur hungry an need a good place to eat.. This is ur place!

Cold beer, strong whiskey and decent service!

Probably as good a mushroom burger I've ever had, the owner is about as good as it gets, first rate bar restaurant.
